Tensar revisited a 2011 site where Glasstex solution was applied to mitigate reflective cracking through a new asphalt 40mm surface layer on a base of instable concrete paving slabs.
Without this solution it was estimated major reconstruction works would be needed on this busy bus route within a couple of years. On a recent survey detailed on a Case Study 13 years on and no major maintenance has been required.
